1. Estimating: This process begins with the submitting of your plans or cabinet dimensions layout. From these dimensions we will be able to determine the required countertop and backsplash square footage. We do not accept any verbal descriptions.
Additional information that is helpful to complete the estimate would be:

b. Sink Detail: Under mount or drop-in.
c. Edge Detail: Bevel eased, ¼” bevel, bullnose, ogee, ½ radius or pencil radius.
d. Is a backsplash required?
e. Who will be responsible for the removal of the existing countertops?
f. Does the sink require plumbing disconnect & reconnect hookup?
g. If using a backsplash are outlet cutouts required?
h. Is a stainless steel sink required or do you plan on purchasing your own?
2. Stone Selection: Van Ness Stone stocks a selection of popular granite slabs that you can choose from. If you are unable to find your granite selection at our facility we can then refer you to our local granite distributors where the customer is welcomed to select from a large inventory of granite. A salesperson will refer you to these local distributors with directions, hours of operation & the number of granite slabs required to complete your project.
We suggest you bring any samples of wall coverings, flooring, cabinetry and/or upholstery to assist with your granite selection.
Please Note The Following: All granite slabs at the local granite distributors are for viewing and selection purposes only. Due to safety reasons, children are not permitted in the warehouse during your slab selection. (No exceptions can be made).
3. Template Generation: After you have selected your granite and approved the Van Ness Stone estimate we will contact you to schedule an appointment to generate templates for your new countertops. These templates are necessary to complete the fabrication process of your new countertops.
4. Delivery & Installation: After the fabrication of your countertops is completed, Van Ness Stone will contact you to schedule an appointment to deliver and install your new countertops.
Please do not hesitate to ask one of our sales associates with any questions or concerns you may have.
